Children’s Technology Workshop – icamp – Want to go to Mars and build a LEGO rover to travel the planet? How about visiting medieval times and designing a castle? How about producing an animated fashion show? Explore, Invent and Create at icamp, a completely interactive and individualized experience.
Grades 2-5 • Thursdays • 3:35-4:35pm • Starts 1/7/10 • $140/11 weeks • Andrea Mikulin
Instructor: Andrea Mikulin graduated cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in English Literature. She went on to complete two years towards a second degree in Computer Science and Mathematics before realizing that what she really wanted to do was teach! She completed the Teacher Education program at MSCD in 2005. She has worked as a Senior Instructor for Children's Technology Workshop (CTW) for three years, and is currently the Area Coordinator for the Denver/Boulder region. She feels truly fortunate to have a job in which she can combine her two favorite things: kids and computers. She shares the CTW belief that computers and technology can empower all children to explore, invent, and create using the right applications with the right direction. She absolutely loves working with kids, particularly when Legos™ and video games are involved!
