| Japanese Language and Culture Class |
Learn basic Japanese language along with writing, songs, games, dance and even some cooking. New material great for continuing students as well as beginners!
Grades: K-2 • Tuesdays • 7:45-8:30am • Starts 1/5/10 • $120/18 weeks • Jo Anne Harada
The older students will continue to increase their vocabulary through games, songs and activities, focus on reading and writing hiragana ad kanji and will have a "Tea Ceremony!"

Instructor: After receiving a B.A. in Elementary Education, Jo Anne Grant Harada taught English in Kumamoto, Japan where she lived for 8 years. After returning to Colorado she studied Montessori Education and began teaching Japanese in her 1-3rd grade class. In 2000 Jo Anne started a non-profit organization, Youth in Action, where she takes students to Japan for a month-long cultural exchange trip each summer.
